Our client is one of Nigeria’s most recognised FMCG companies. We worked with leadership to develop a nuanced understanding of the potential scenarios a global health crisis such as COVID-19 could present and how that in turn impacts their operating environment, operations and reputation with key publics. The process delivered insights in support of decision-making and executive communication regarding business continuity planning, innovation, strategic pivots. The outcome of this project has led to a subtle repositioning of the parent company, enabling it to tap existing manufacturing capabilities to address new demand for trusted products that help keep people safe even though this new product category sits entirely outside of what the company has become synonymous with over a 60 year period.
